I remember when I was 14 my grandmother (my dad’s mom) would always talk to me about how great it was when she heard Martin Luther King Jr. speak. She would say “No man could move a crowd or inspire a community like he did.” I have to admit that I never quite understood what she meant or how she felt until now. I remember when President Elect- Obama announced that he was running for the presidency. I remember how shocked everyone was that he was running because of his “lack of experience.” I am no political mastermind but his message to me was more than just change, for the first time I felt like here was a man saying; “Hey, I don’t have all the answers and I can’t guarantee that my plans will go how I plan, but I will be the best president I can be.” I appreciated and moreover I embraced the honesty and the truth within his words.

When Barak Obama received the democratic nomination I ran out to register to vote, not because he would end up being the first African-American president but because I knew that this was a man that could change our country.

While I was standing in line at my polling location (totally freezing) I realized that what I was about to do was about more than just me, it was about my children, and my grandchildren, and my great grandchildren. I realized that my vote was about how I wanted to live, and how I wanted to be governed, my vote was about the millions of women that fought for me to be able to vote. My vote was about millions of African-American’s that stood up to injustice and sacrificed their lives, their families lives and their freedoms so that I could one day live in a community they could not and so that I could one day be heard when they were silenced. My vote was about standing up and being heard. I will NEVER, EVER not vote. I will make sure that WHATEVER the election I will be heard.

If you are not registered to vote; PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU REGISTER AND VOTE! If you ever think that your vote doesn’t count just remember that once upon a time many of us had no choice and we were silenced. To not vote is to disregard the fight that was fought long before many us were born. I WILL NOT BE SILENCED!

I have to send my congratulations to Barak Obama, Michelle Obama and the entire first family. I have to admit that I take deep pride in knowing that our soon to be President of the United States is of mixed ethnic background (that being African- American and Caucasian) and that the we now have someone in the White House that understands and has heard those voices that have gone unheard for so long. There are something’s that you think you will never see happen in your lifetime but once you do it is so surreal. YES WE CAN! AND YES WE DID!

Well today is the day, 2 years of campaigning and here we all are Tuesday November 4^th, 2008.

Let me side step my normal political ramblings to touch on two very sad notes. This past Friday, October 31^st just as we were all gearing up for a rather large Halloween Costume and Masquerade Ball I got a call from my mother to let me know that my 17 year old cousin Jonathan Touchstone (READ STORY HERE: http://www.thepittsburghchannel.com/news/17859421/detail.html ) was gunned down in Pittsburgh, he lost his life at such a young age and in yet again another senseless gun related death. It breaks my heart and was especially hard on my mother because it brought up all those old feelings from when I suffered a similar fate but was blessed enough to recover and survive (I do not always mean to dwell on my past situation, but damn it feels good to be working on this second lease on life and there is not one day that goes by that I do not thank God for giving me my blessings. No one is promised tomorrow, no one). My cousin was not as fortunate. My prayers are with my parents and my entire family as we deal with his untimely passing. I am just in awww sometimes to really remember and think about all the friends and family I have lost to gun related deaths.

Then just as fast as I was made aware of my cousin’s death, I got a flurry of e-mails and texts late Saturday asking me if I had heard about a mutual business colleague’s death; Shakir Stewart (READ STORY HERE: http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1598436/20081103/jay_z.jhtml or http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003886223 or READ this really great Blog Kenny Burns wrote at http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=90529948&blogID=445707911 or Sha Money’s Blog at http://www.shamoneymotivation.com/2008/11/shakir-stewart.html#comments ). Shakir was a great person and one of the few truly bright, energetic, talented and up-incoming African American executives coming up in the ranks of our very turbulent industry and he was taken away from all of us entirely too soon. Those of you reading this Blog, I am sure know exactly who Shakir is but for those of you that do not, he was the executive that discovered and signed Ciara, he also discovered and signed Young Jeezy and Rick Ross and just this past June 2008 he had achieved yet another major career achievement by being the predecessor to Jay-Z and being appointed to fill the shoes left by Jay-Z as the Executive Vice-President of the biggest hip-hop label in the world; Def Jam. That is by far not all of Shakir’s accomplishments, but lets just say he did all of us proud with his accomplishment. I refuse to go into the details of his death, because I feel like it does not do all his many accomplishments justice in hindsight. This industry is brutal and treacherous and we have to stand with each other, support each other and be able to reach out our hands to each other when in need. We are brothers in this very small fraternal order. Well all I will say is it was very saddening to me to learn of his death and he will be missed. My prayers and condolences go out all his family, friends and my people/ his co-workers at Island Def Jam Music as we all grieve at his passing. Hip Hop lost a huge advocate and skilled executive.

I am truly saddened at the lost of both Jonathan and Shakir, too young and way too soon. We have to be better people; we have to be actively better everyday.

While I was running like a mad man on this election-day and trying to finish this Blog posting before the polls closed to post it, I got word that Jheryl Busby passed away on Tuesday (READ STORY HERE: http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Music/11/05/jheryl.busby.obit.ap/ ). Jheryl was one of the original African American music titans, he was the former CEO of Motown Records and I was privileged enough to meet him while he was heading up DreamWorks Records Urban Music Department. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

Now here we all are, Tuesday November 4^th 2008 and it is time to do that very American of things, that very democratic thing, that very individual and human thing and that is to change the trajectory of our country by voting. I was up at my polling location about one hour in advance of the polling location opening at 7AM, because I just wanted to vote early and be able to watch the election-day coverage throughout the rest of the day. Yep, that’s right Shadoworld Entertainment is on suspended business today because its boss is a political nut case. As I stood there in line it was such an incredible feeling, such an American blend of cultures and ethnicities all there to make their single voice heard by voting. This is what being and American is all about. Vote for elected officials, vote for different Measures and propositions and make our country, states, counties and cities a better place for not only us, but our children, our families, friends and neighbors. This is the process this is our God given duty.

So I say to everyone again today as I have said to everyone everyday GET OUT AND VOTE. If you do not volunteer, if you do not donate to a candidate, if you do nothing else you are obligated to be knowledgeable about the measures and candidates and voice your opinion and vote. VOTE!!!! Do not say a word about the problems in this country, your state or your city if you do not vote. We all have to be registered and WE ALL MUST VOTE IN EVERY ELECTION!!!

Do not pay attention to the early polling projections and think that the Obama-Biden ticket has the nomination locked up let us all not forget about 2000 election. Make sure everyone you know gets out there and votes. We need every vote, every single vote in every state.

Congratulations to all my first time voters that I hounded around me and convinced to get registered early and to vote this year. My hats off to you all and never forget; when in doubt vote your party.

I would also like to take this opportunity to personally thank everyone that came out yet again in massive support of our Halloween Costume and Masquerade Ball (we will have pictures on the Shadoworld website later this week) this past Friday, October 31^st that took place in Hollywood at The Music Box Henry Fonda Theater. I am always so very humbled and appreciative of everyone’s die hard support of our many parties, events and different promotional efforts. We can not thank you all enough.

So on behalf of myself and the entire Shadoworld organization along with our associates I want to personally thank all of you for your support and attendance every time.

I know a lot of you forward our e-vites to your own personal e-blast list and direct your friends and family to sign-up for our e-mail alerts and all I can say is keep it up. Keep telling all your friends and family. Keep spreading the word and pushing this Shadoworld movement.

Well that is it for this morning, just checking in with everyone giving my two cents; I am back from SEMA 2008 just to vote today and then heading right back to Vegas for the rest of the SEMA convention. We are still filming for these four reality shows, recording albums, planning promotional photo shoots and getting clothing line approvals. P.S. I just want to thank everyone that takes the time out to read these Blogs and please understand we just have a ton of things going on so when I do find the time to write a new posting I try to touch on as many things as possible in as short a manner as possible. Awww, but who cares about that anyway. Reading is fundamental. LOL

Anyways, so the other day I had a chance to finally see The Dark Knight and all I can say is “DAMN”, did Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and Aron Eckhart nail it, I mean they really knocked this one out of the park. $200 plus million domestically in 4 days, $24 plus million on Monday, $29 plus million on Tuesday and Warner Bros still has not even really opened the movie in all the international territories just yet. So, can we all say the winner of the summer box office will most certainly be The Dark Knight and after seeing the movie it most certainly deserves it. If that was not enough director Zack Snyder’s newest masterpiece The Watchmen trailer ran as one of the trailers before The Dark Knight and you can not even tell me Snyder does not have another winner on his hands. If you have not seen The Dark Knight definitely go see it this weekend and if you have not seen the 1^st Watchmen trailer head over to www.watchmenmovie.com and check it out.

So a lot of our folks are out in San Diego at the Comic-Con (http://www.comic-con.org ) International convention happening at the convention center. Tons of incredible tidbits coming out of there such as Robert Rodriguez’s new take on the barbarian Red Sonja starring Rose McGowan and if you all remember this movie was made before starring Brigitte Neilson and California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Rodriguez’s version is being produced by Nu Image/ Millennium Films. Let’s see what else have we heard, oh one of the hardest working actors in Hollywood Samuel Jackson showed up at The Spirit panel to discuss his portrayal as The Octopus in the Frank Miller directed film hitting theaters December 2008. Marvel Entertainment had a panel but my guy did not make it over there at the convention, but he did talk to a few people that attended and I read a few blogs of other people that were actually at this panel and outside of the Iron Man 2 coming in 2010 and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine Origin movie in 2009 and The First Avenger Captain: Captain America, they also have Thor, Ant-Man, Avengers and possibly Silver Surfer movie and maybe another The Incredible Hulk. In short, Marvel Entertainment after their first stand-alone picture through Marvel Entertainment John Favreau’s Iron Man far surpassed expectations basically plan to unleash the flood gates and release what seems to be about one to two movies a year from the Marvel universe. The good folks from Hasbro had a panel for their highly anticipated G.I. Joe adaptation entitled G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra being directed by Stephen Sommers. There are sure to be lots of great movies coming to theaters later this year, in 2009 and 2010.

The next convention we have coming up is the American Black Film Festival right here in Los Angeles August 7^th to the 10^th over at the Sofitel Hotel in Beverly Hills. You can check out some of the previous year’s highlights at the official ABFF website at www.abff.com

I know some of you are reading this and saying to yourself “Julian is not talking about Shadoworld business or politics, someone call 911”. LMAO. Yes, my friends your boy has another labor of love and they are television and movies aka Hollywood, I mean why even be in Los Angeles if not to get into movies and television. You see I had a master plan and moving to Los Angeles gave me access to both the music industry and movie industry all at once. There is not a single day that goes by that I am not planning, plotting and maneuvering in order to make that dream come to fruition. So, we are gearing up for that with these first two reality shows (formal announcement on the two shows later) we have been filming, cultivating and tweaking since March or so and I must say this stuff is a major process. So far so good and it is really shaping up and I am adding a lot of great new folks to my already impressive team of people on the TV and film side of things.

But the creative process is much like the music side of things in the sense that it takes time to really put together something worthwhile and worth putting into the marketplace to consumers to represent my brand and my vision for this company. I mean what is the point in just slapping things together and putting it out??? We just have a different game plan over here at Shadoworld Entertainment; it is not enough to be known locally or even regionally on the music front of things, if we can not be worldwide stars than it is like what is the point. So we keep working and refining our products, so when it drops we are doing something really groundbreaking and make our mark in the history books of the music industry. You know “Go hard or go home” mentality.

Let’s see, what else. Awww, yes we had another jam packed event (Friday June 27^th ) we planned, hosted and executed the album release party for the new G-Unit Album Terminate on Sight at Social Hollywood. It was hosted by G-Unit/ 50 Cent Dj, DJ Whoo Kid (The Mix-Tape KING), Chivas USA’s 2008 Chiva Girls and Shadoworld Records recording artist Ahrae (her first). Yep, DJ Whoo Kid came straight from a gig over in Spain the day before and made it to Los Angeles to spin at this official G-Unit Records/ THISIS50.COM Terminate on Sight album release party. I want to thank all my street team people that really promoted the hell out of this event, also all of you that came out to party with us and hang out with Whoo Kid, the Chiva Girls and Ahrae. Interscope Records executives came out, special thanks to Chivas USA and Social Hollywood, Spider Loc’s Baymacc Records staff, 40 Glocc, Badazz, folks from Universal Music Group, Urban Network Magazine, 944 Magazine, Billboard Magazine, MTV, Clubben.com crew, Open Your Eyes Magazine, Paramount Pictures, BET, Humor Mill magazine, Red Carpet Events, White Rock VIP, the other resident DJs, the Go Go dancers, etc. The place was just a zoo and a madhouse.

Short of the massive line outside, the guest list not really being honored and the doors not opening on time, our folks as always still patiently waited and did not really sweat the last minute nonsense that was going on at the door and really turned the party out. Thanks again to all of you for making us look great yet again. We love seeing you all at each of our parties and events and the undying support is simply nothing short of an honor and privilege. Thank you for riding with us and helping us to facilitate the Shadoworld movement.

Party video is coming soon (fingers crossed on that one), additional event photos will be posted to the Shadoworld website and myspace pages in the very immediate future and look out for some of this video footage to appear in both the upcoming Shadoworld reality shows. Oh boy.

Really quickly I think in the last Blog I posted Hillary Clinton was still in the running and had not dropped out of the race yet. Well I just wanted to say two things, congratulations first and foremost to Senator Clinton and the Clintons on running an incredible race and who knows what the immediate future holds, the DNC convention in Denver is right around the corner, plenty of time still for a joint ticket to come together. And secondly and more importantly, I must offer my most sincere and humble congratulations to Senator Barack Obama. Some things just speak for themselves and this historical race he is running just speaks volumes on the state of the USA. Congratulations again to Senator Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and campaign manager David Plouffe. November 2008 is a major fork in the road for our country and the fate rests solely in the hands of the voting public. P.S. Sometimes being in business, you have to cut the grass low so you can see the snakes in the grass. Translation: sometimes the people you think are on the team and riding are really simply there to milk you and try to cause your plan to derail. So, let’s all be mindful and keep a watchful eye out on your inner circle and those surrounding us when doing business or chasing a dream. Sometimes the ones closest to you can do more damage than those not around us. A person saying they believe in their words verses showing this belief in their actions are two totally different things. Let NO one stand between you and your life’s pursuits, not even yourself. Hey everyone! So, I have not had an opportunity to check in with you all and say HEY. God, this year has been so busy, I mean it started off busy and still continues to be such an incredible year. I am so blessed. I know I should be writing these Blog entries more, but its just lil ole me and there is only so much time in a day. My label works me to death reworking my album but I am not complaining because I do not know another label that would allow me the time and financial freedom to really make my first album something classic and what we all feel will be commercially successful. J So YAY Shadoworld. YAY ME. Hooray to us all. S-WORLD BABY!!!

Before I get started I just wanted to express my deepest thanks and to all of my Myspace and HI5.com friends that leave me such encouraging comments and notes of support. I do not get a chance to reply to all of you, but I do read them and I seriously am touched by your support. It really keeps me inspired to keep moving forward. I can not wait for you all to start hearing this new music from my album.

Speaking of which, I hosted my first event a few weeks back. I believe Friday June 27^th was the date if I am not mistaken; the event was for the G-Unit Records album release of Terminate on Sight. So, I won’t give you the blow by blow details, but let’s just say we here at Shadoworld never disappoint and this party was OFF THE HOOK. G-Unit/ 50 Cent’s DJ, DJ Whoo Kid hosted with me along with the 2008 Chiva Girls; a bunch of great young ladies. Go Chivas! We had some issues with the folks getting into the venue, but all in all it was just so much fun. I really was super excited to meet so many of you. I don’t even have an album out yet, let alone a single, but this viral stuff really proved something to me that night because I had a bunch of people make it past my security to introduce themselves to me and ask for a picture and words can not describe how that made me feel inside. It was really an incredible feeling to be in the heart of Hollywood on a Friday night where there are so many obvious nightclubs and choices for all of you to go party at and a lot of you made the choice to come out to meet me. That is just a feeling that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Like I said words can not even begin to describe it, to have such a ground swell of support simply from the internet exposure. Awesome! I know I arrived sort of late, my label was super mad, but a girl has to make a fashionably late entrance (ladies you know it takes time to go through all the preparation to get ready hair, make-up, shoes and many many outfit changes) and in all fairness Whoo Kid was late too. Whoo Kid was really cool and super down to earth- he definitely kept everyone moving. G-Unit Records staff even posted the party flyer on 50 Cent’s social network THISIS50.COM for like three days prior to the party and that was awesome to see myself on the home page of that website considering it gets like 2 million views a day.

Well that is about it from me. Just wanted to tell all of you what I’ve been up to. I am still alive and kicking. Working everyday towards final song selection on “Theory 74 A” and just getting that together, hitting the gym everyday and just doing me.

Additionally, to the extent any such assignment is ineffective, Interscope Records shall have the perpetual, irrevocable, fully transferable right to use the Submission Materials for advertising, trade and promotional purposes in any media or manner worldwide, and may post Submission Materials for viewing by the public. Each entrant releases the Contest Entities, and their respective agents, assigns, licensees, and legal representatives from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action including, but not limited to, defamation and violation of any rights of publicity or privacy in the use by Interscope Records of any photo, and entrant’s name and physical likeness as provided herein, except where prohibited by law. Interscope Records reserves the right to modify or edit Submission Materials, in whole or in part, for content, clarity or any other reason, and entrant waives any and all “moral rights” in and to their Submission Material. Interscope Records further reserves the right to decline to release or use Submission Materials for any reason, in its sole discretion. Entrants (including Grand Prize winner) agree that there is no guarantee that Interscope Records will make use of any rights granted to Interscope Records regarding Submission Materials.

WINNER SELECTION: Judging will be done in the below stated fashion. At the conclusion of all judging, one (1) Grand Prize winner and two (2) Runner-up winners will be determined.

All eligible entries received will be judged according to the following criteria with equal weight assigned to each criteria:

1) Creativity
2) Originality
3) Video production practicality

All judging will be conducted and selected by G-UNIT,. Judging is scheduled to be completed on or about July 6, 2008. The one (1) entry scoring the highest in the judging shall be declared the Grand Prize Winner of the Contest and the next two (2) entries scoring the next highest in the judging shall be declared the Runner-up Winners of the Contest. The Grand Prize Winner and Runner-up Winners are sometimes individually and collectively referred to herein as (“Contest winner(s)”). In the case of a tie, the Contest winners will be determined from such tied entries on the basis of the entry’s rank in the first criterion, continuing in descending order thereafter to the second and third criteria, as needed to break the tie. Sponsor reserves the right to choose fewer than the stated number of contest winners if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries.

Sponsor in its sole discretion shall determine if any entry is inappropriate for any reason for public release including but not limited to publication on Sponsor’s Website. Sponsor shall have the right to disqualify any entries that it deems to not meet the criteria, or due to technical, legal, clearance or other problems, or which it deems to be obscene or otherwise not in good taste, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Entries may not defame or invade the publicity or privacy rights of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any person’s personal or proprietary rights. Sponsor and Judges’ decisions are final and binding with respect to all matters relating to this Contest.

All Contest winners will be notified within ten (10) days of the completion of the judging. Contest winners shall upon request be required to execute and return Contest winner documents to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, including without limitation, an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Submission Release/Transfer of All Rights and Waiver Agreement form, a completed IRS W-9 form, and (except where prohibited) a Publicity Release form within ten (10) days of date of issuance of notification (the “Deadline”). Furthermore, all individuals appearing in such Contest winner’s Submission Materials (including Contest winner if applicable) may be required to execute and return consent forms and/or releases prior to the Deadline.

Failure to return all required documents within the Deadline or comply with these Official Rules may result in the forfeiture of place as a Contest winner and, at Sponsor’s discretion, a runner-up may be selected. Any notification returned to Sponsor or its fulfillment company as undeliverable for any reason will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, a runner-up may be notified. If a runner-up selection is necessary for any reason, in any judging round, the entry with the next highest total score shall be declared the Grand Prize Winner or Runner-up Winner, as applicable.

Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) for Sponsor and its designee(s) to use the Contest winner’s name, address, likeness, voice, statements and entries (and any version thereof) for advertising, promotion and publicity purposes worldwide, in any medium now known or hereafter created, without additional compensation or limitation.

PRIZES:

Grand Prize (1 will be awarded):

One (1) HD video camera for the Grand Prize Winner.

The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $1,000.00.

Runner-up Prize (2 will be awarded): The Runner-up Prize consists of one (1) video camera for each respective runner-up..

The ARV of each of the Runner-up Prizes detailed above is $400.00 each.

The total ARV of all prizes to be awarded in the Contest is $1800.00. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. No substitution of prize permitted, except due to unavailability, in which event a prize of comparable value will be substituted at the sole discretion of Sponsors. All Federal, state, local or other taxes, are the sole responsibility of winners.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS:
All prizes are non-transferable except by Interscope Records. Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. No substitution or cash equivalent of a prize is permitted; however, Interscope Records reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value. The Contest Entities are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the Contest, including, but not limited to, errors in the printing or posting of the offer or Official Rules, the selection and announcement of any winner, or the distribution of any prize. Any attempt to damage the operation of the Contest is unlawful and subject to legal action by Interscope Records or its agents. Interscope Records reserves the right to terminate, withdraw or amend the Contest or disqualify any entry for any reason and without notice including, without limitation, if Interscope Records suspects tampering has occurred or an aspect of unfairness exists in the Contest. Interscope Records reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Contest Entities will not replace any lost or stolen prize items. The Contest Entities and any telephone network or service providers are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunction, lost or delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, line failure or malfunction of any telephone network, computer equipment or software, the inability to access any Website or online service or any other error, human or otherwise.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
BY PARTICIPATING OR ACCEPTING A PRIZE, ENTRANTS AND WINNERS AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE CONTEST ENTITIES AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, FOR LOSS, HARM, DAMAGE, INJURY, COST OR EXPENSE WHATSOEVER INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH WHICH MAY OCCUR IN CONNECTION WITH, PREPARATION FOR, TRAVEL TO, OR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST, OR POSSESSION, ACCEPTANCE AND/OR USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE OR PARTICIPATION IN ANY CONTEST-RELATED ACTIVITY AND FOR ANY CLAIMS BASED ON COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT, PUBLICITY/PRIVACY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR INVASION OF PRIVACY AND MERCHANDISE DELIVERY. PUBLICITY:
By submitting an entry form, each entrant grants Interscope Records and those acting under its authority permission to use the entrant’s name, likeness, photo(s), entry specifics or comments for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation, except where prohibited by law.

GOVERNING LAW:
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the Contest Entities in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the United States, the State of California. All suits or claims brought in connection with this Contest must be brought in a state or federal court in Los Angeles, California without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
The Contest and all related Web pages, content and code are copyrighted by Interscope Records, or a third party. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks, or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

WHO WON:
The names of the winners shall be posted on the Contest Website after selection of the winners for a period of approximately one (1) month. A list of the names of the winners may also be obtained by mailing a request, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, to Interscope Records “G-UNIT “RIDER PT. 2″ WRITE YOUR OWN VIDEO TREATMENT CONTEST” Winners, 2220 Colorado Ave., Santa Monica, CA 90404 within thirty (30) days of the end of the Contest Period.

GENERAL: Online entries must be received by Interscope Records by 11:59 pm on May 23, 2008 to be eligible, and mail-in entries must be postmarked by June 6, 2008 and received by June 7, 2008 to be eligible. LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON (regardless of method of entry). No entrant is eligible to win more than one prize. No faxed or e-mailed entries will be accepted. Receipt of entries will not be acknowledged, and proof of submission of an entry will not be deemed proof of receipt. Interscope Records has no obligation to advise an entrant of an incomplete or otherwise non-compliant entry. Interscope Records is not responsible for lost, late, invalid, unintelligible, incomplete, mutilated, garbled, postage-due or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Submission Materials: By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the posting by Interscope Records of his or her Submission Materials on the Contest Website and agrees and acknowledges that Submission Materials will be viewed by other Contest Website users. Once an eligible online entrant uploads his or her Submission Materials, Interscope Records will review Submission Materials for compliance with these Official Rules and, if eligible and within Interscope Records’ sole discretion, post Submission Materials for viewing on the Contest Website. Releasees shall not be liable for personal injuries, death, damages, expenses or costs or losses of any kind resulting from participation or inability to participate in this Contest or acceptance of or use or inability to use the prize or parts thereof including, without limitation, claims, suits, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light (whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.

If a prize (or portion thereof) cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of the Sponsor, a substitute prize of comparable or greater retail value will be awarded at the discretion of the Sponsor. Releasees shall not be liable to Contest winners or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God, any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal) labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot, or any other cause beyond Releasees’ sole control.

If for any reason this Contest is not capable of running as planned or does not allow the proper playing of the Contest and processing of entries per these rules, or if tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and void his/her entry) implicated in such action, and/or to modify or terminate the Contest or further entry in this Contest, as Sponsor deems appropriate. If modification or termination of this Contest occurs, notification will be posted on the Website and Sponsor may, at its discretion, select potential Contest winners from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to time of action.
