Shadoworld Interns are non-paid, part-time and full-time staffers that work directly from offices in Beverly Hills , CA as well as from home. Our interns are utilized for many different jobs.

What Are The Requirements?

Requirements: We are looking for hard working, creative students with an interest in music and films. We take this internship position very seriously and give our interns a lot of responsibility. In turn we ask that they work hard, and come ready to learn as much as they can! All administrative tasks in support of department assistant (phones, faxing, mailing compilation.

Creativity is a must as well as knowledge of pop culture, brands, television and film. Qualified candidates must have a working knowledge of the following programs:

• MS Word,
• Excel,
• PowerPoint,
• Outlook
• QuickBooks
• Adobe
• Windows XP
• Basic Internet

Applicants should also have exceptional organizational and writing skills; be detailed oriented, self-motivated and dependable. Good phone demeanor is mandatory, and a strong administrative background is preferable, however not required.

What Does This Specific Position Entail?

Description: As an intern at Shadoworld Entertainment you will be working alongside all the departments, however there will be a strong concentrated focus within the marketing and promotions department. Your responsibilities will range widely from assisting the staff, along with basic intern duties such as; helping scout bands and helping research new acts. While this internship is exciting, it is not easy, and will require very hard work and an interest in music and films. Internships will be extremely hands-on; our interns work closely with all members of staff including the artists. Duties will include, however are not limited to:

• Online Promotions
• Research
• National Booking Activities,
• Planning and Coordinating Marketing Concepts
• PR
• Assisting artists with shows

In addition, interns will work with the Head of Radio Marketing to focus on radio promotions. This particularly focuses on contacting music directors and program directors, building relationships and getting songs airplay. We're looking for passionate, creative, and highly organized individuals who have a love for music, film and the behind-the-scenes aspects of the associated industry creation. Other characteristics we look for include the ability to be highly self-motivated, an eagerness to learn, a positive attitude, the ability to work in teams, and the ability to complete tasks with little to no supervision. The ideal candidate will be someone that shows initiative and has a strong interest in areas within the company.
